Most San Francisco casino parties land between $1,500 for a small backyard setup and $15,000+ for a large gala. Within that range, the price you actually pay depends on guest count, table count, event length, day of the week, location within the Bay Area, and a small handful of add-ons. Here's the real math.
What every quote should include
Before comparing numbers, make sure every quote you collect includes the same line items. A San Francisco casino party quote should bundle:
- Full-size casino tables (blackjack, roulette, craps, poker, baccarat as needed)
- Tuxedo-attired professional dealers, one per table
- Casino-grade chips, cards, layouts, and accessories
- Delivery, setup (60–90 minutes), event-night staffing, and breakdown (30–45 minutes) within the SF Bay Area
- A pit boss for events of 4+ tables
If you receive a "$799 per table" flat rate that excludes dealers, delivery, or staffing, you're looking at a teaser price — the real number will be higher once those line items are added.
Real cost ranges by guest count
The ranges below assume a standard 3–4 hour event in the SF Bay Area on a Saturday night. Sunday through Thursday typically run 10–20% less.
25 guests, 2 tables
$1,500–$2,200. Two tables, two dealers, all equipment, setup and breakdown. Perfect for an intimate home birthday or small mixer.
50 guests, 4 tables
$2,800–$3,800. Four tables, four dealers, pit boss recommended. Typical 40th birthday, small corporate offsite, or wedding cocktail-hour add-on.
100 guests, 8 tables
$4,800–$7,000. Eight tables, eight dealers, pit boss included. Wedding receptions, mid-size corporate parties, school fundraisers.
150 guests, 12 tables
$7,000–$10,500. Twelve tables, twelve dealers, pit boss plus event captain. Ballroom weddings, large company holiday parties.
500 guests, 20+ tables
$13,000–$22,000+. Full gala-scale setup at the Fairmont, the SF Mint, or the Westin. Includes multiple pit bosses, an emcee, and (often) a tournament format.
What drives the price up and down
Day of week
Saturday is the most expensive night in San Francisco because dealer demand is highest. Sunday through Thursday typically run 10–20% less because we have more dealer availability.
Event length
Three to four hours is standard. Each additional hour adds dealer overtime — typically $40–$60 per dealer per hour.
Location within the Bay Area
San Francisco proper, the Peninsula, Marin, and the East Bay are our standard service area with no travel premium. Napa, Sonoma, Santa Cruz, and the deep East Bay (Livermore, Pleasanton) carry small travel surcharges, typically $150–$500 depending on distance and traffic.
Custom branding
Custom play money with your company logo or wedding monogram is roughly $300–$700 per design. Custom table felts (great for sponsor branding at fundraisers) run $400–$1,000 per table and need 4+ weeks lead time.
Venue load-in difficulty
Standard hotel ballrooms with a freight elevator are easiest. Walk-up SF homes with no elevator, narrow staircases, or restricted load-in windows (Marina, Russian Hill, North Beach) may carry a small access surcharge if our crew needs extra hands or extra time.
Line items planners often miss
- Gratuity for dealers. Not auto-included. Many hosts add 15–20% at booking; some hand cash directly to dealers night-of.
- California sales tax. Applies to the equipment rental portion of your invoice.
- Overtime parking. A handful of SF venues charge per-vehicle parking; if our trucks need to stay overnight (rare), there's typically a $100–$300 fee.
- Emcee services. Optional add-on, $400–$900, popular for fundraiser prize ceremonies and tournament finals.
How to lower your cost without lowering quality
- Move from Saturday to Friday or Sunday — 10–20% savings.
- Choose a 3-hour window instead of 4 — saves an hour of dealer time per table.
- Skip the custom play money unless you're at a wedding or corporate event where it doubles as a keepsake.
- Right-size the table count. Don't over-book "just in case" — we'd rather quote you exactly what you need.
- Book early. Most months we hold pricing for 90 days from quote, so locking in summer for December saves you from year-end surge availability.
